Rotating X-Ray Anode
When an x-ray is generated, 99% of the expended energy is lost as heat, which must be diverted away. The focal spot is distributed across the edge of the anode as a result of fast rotation. In contrast to a purely metal anode, our graphite anode with a thinly soldered-on metal layer is characterized by high thermal capacity, outstanding thermal conduction and radiation, increasing strength at high temperatures and a considerably smaller rotating mass.
You benefit from these advantages:
- Graphite anode with thin metal layer instead of a purely metal anode
- High thermal capacity
- Outstanding thermal conduction and radiation
- Increasing strength at high temperatures
- Considerably lower mass
