Carbon brush dust is an inevitable by-product of operating most hydro-generators. Our dust extraction system for brush wear keeps this conductive dust material away from the electrical components of the generator, thereby increasing reliability, reducing downtime, and lowering maintenance costs. The system can be integrated into new generators or easily and cost-effectively retrofitted into existing ones.

Shaft Grounding Systems

Stray currents can cause severe damage to generator components. Our carbon fiber shaft grounding system safely diverts such high-frequency interference currents from the shaft, protecting the generator. The system contains strands of approximately 200,000 tiny electrically conductive carbon fibers, reaching even hard-to-access areas in drive systems. This innovative solution is suitable for both DC and AC applications.
